Isabella Rossellini creates “Green Porno”

She’s beautiful. She’s weird. She’s creepy. Which makes her more beautiful (in a weird creepy way). Isabella Rosellini’s latest film endeavor isn’t about some disturbing sexual tension opposite Dennis Hopper though… instead, it is an 8-part series of short films, each created by and featuring Rossellini as a different insect having sex (she’s got to bite the head off of at least one, right?)
If you happened to attend the Sundance Film Festival or Berlinale Film Festival, you could have seen them there. If not, they are scheduled to air on the Sundance Channel, although I was unable to find out exactly when.

Actually, Mr. Shaft, I cannot find any other porn Ms. Rossellini has been a part of. I’m sure you have already seen Blue Velvet, but it might pay to view it again. It’s porn without actual porn…

i stumbled upon this series by chance one late evening. i was confused, but pleased in the end by the surreal nature of it. now i know who is responsible, and i have completed a loop in my head (blue velvet, isabella rossellini, green porno, blue velvet). thanks.
