Though the Leopard update patch is quite new, the NeoOffice project for mac is not. Based on the OpenOffice platform (more PC friendly), it runs all your Microsoft Office Apps and is FREE!!! (they do need donations). I’ve tested it in a variety of ways and it seems really stable and just as functional as all the bloat-ware out there. It also has the added functionality of using the OSX Address Book.

Additionally it has a drawing module and even a database application. I highly recommend it for designers who need to save their $$$ for art apps like Illustrator and Photoshop and all those derned plugins.
