The End for House and Garden

Through one of my favorite blogs, Design Sponge, I learned that the December issue of House and Garden will be the last issue. I must admit, I took the magazine for granted, knowing it as an institution, perusing it with great interest whenever I ran across it, but not supporting it as I now wish I would have done. Go to House and Garden online to enjoy the last online issue as well as a great retrospective of covers, photos and illustrations from their 106-year run. The covers from the 1920’s are absolutely georgeous with their art deco/art nouveau illustrations…so juicy. Here’s a sampling in honor of a great run.
